Day 1 Key West: Arrival
Arrive into Key West, and pick up your car from the airport before heading to your hotel in order to relax before starting your Florida tour in the morning.Hotel: Grand Key Resort
Day 2 Key West - Everglades National Park
Travel along the Keys and north on US1 to Homestead. Continue past the park entrance following a 36-mile meandering road to the seaside community of Flamingo. Day 3 Everglades National Park - Naples
Distance: 136 MilesLeave the Everglades National Park returning to Homestead and continuing on to the beach resort of Naples located on the Gulf of Mexico. You have a choice of two main routes to Naples - Hwy 41 known as Tamiami Trail, or Interstate 75, Alligator Alley.

Day 4 Naples - Sarasota
Distance: 100 MilesContinue north to Sarasota, passing the popular Fort Myers and Venice beaches. Stop to visit the winter residence of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford, outside Fort Myers. Consider taking a side trip to the tropical barrier islands of Sanibel and Captiva (toll bridge). Visit the Ding Darling State Park on Captiva where you can hire bicycles to enjoy the Floridian flora and fauna, or take a kayak trip through the mangroves.

Distance: 160 MilesToday's journey takes you south, crossing 42 bridges and 32 islands as you drive on the Overseas Highway (US1) all the way to Key West, only 90 miles away from Cuba. The route includes the famous Seven-Mile Bridge between Marathon and the Lower Keys, with the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Key Largo, well known for the Bogart/Bacall movie of the same name will be the first of the chain of coral islands known as the Keys, home also to Bogart's old boat from the "African Queen". The star visitor attraction is undoubtedly the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the only underwater park in the USA. By snorkeling, scuba diving or just viewing from a glass bottom boat, you can see an amazing array of colorful fish and beautiful coral plus the spectacle of a submerged statue "Christ of the Deep". Continue onto Key West and take the Conch Tour Train to get a flavor of Key West -don't miss the Hemingway House, one of Key West's most famous celebrities. Join the evening crowds in Mallory Square to watch a spectacular sunset or book a champagne sunset cruise to do it in style!
